SHOALS, Ind. (WTHI) – UPDATE: The Martin County Sheriff’s Office reports the suspect in connection with this case has been taken into custody. Officials report it was a citizen who spotted the suspect in question.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information on a suspect who they believe stole items from a gas station in Shoals.
Officials report the theft happened at the Marathon Gas Station where the suspect, who told an employee his name was Luke, took items from inside and drove off without paying for fuel.
The vehicle is a newer style Ford ext cab with chrome rain guards over the windows. He was last seen headed towards Lawrence County on US Highway 50.
